新出廠磨面機安裝后都要進行調試方可試車，開機前應仔細檢查傳動皮帶及防護裝置，檢查各部分緊固件是否松動，檢查軸承、齒輪松緊是否合適，檢查糧倉、磨內是否有異物，用手轉動磨機大皮帶輪，檢查顫動是否正常。

新面粉機安裝調試后，應先用麩皮試磨不少于30分鐘，將磨機內清理干凈后，再開始正常加工小麥面粉。

根據物料顆粒調整流量調節小手柄，使每一遍加工的流量合適。
